Kick-off Concert Chantal Kreviazuk: the Canadian superstar will kick-off KL’s 2010 Winter Carnival with a live concert at the Northern College Auditorium on February 8. Tickets are $50 and go on sale January 15th. More details will be announced on the website in early January.
Stars of Pop Concert: the KL Festivals Committee and KL Kinsmen Club present this annual concert for kids featuring great tribute acts performing live. This year’s event will be held on Friday, February 12th in the auditorium at Northern College. Tribute acts will be announced soon.
Kids Carnival: Hockey Heritage North will host the annual Kirkland Lake Kids Carnival on Ontario’s Family Day holiday on Monday, February 15th. Events will be held indoors and outdoors at Hockey Heritage North.
Oldtimers Hockey Tournament: The annual Rino Robazza memorial oldtimers hockey tournament runs from February 12-14 at the complex in Kirkland Lake..
Dorset Snowball Winter Carnival
February 19 & 20, 2010
Snowball hosts a bevy of winter activities such as skating, snowball throwing game, tobogganing hill, chainsaw carving demo, minnow races, horse-drawn wagon rides, Mini Snowmobile rides, Snow Snake Games, Children's Broomball Tournament, hockey shoot-out, kids vs adult hockey game, snowshoe races, Hockey Night in Dorset and more!
